Please contact me to discuss your project. I promise to give you the best rate possible

Copy Editing

I can proof read, correct, and enhance your script using British English, American English, or any other style of English. I'll use words and phrases that enhance your presentation, giving your film, video or audio project a fresh, contemporary sound.

The fee depends on the amount of work involved. I usually ask clients to email me the document that needs correcting or improving. This gives me an idea of how much work is involved so I can give an accurate quotation for the work.

Thanks for dropping by and visiting my website. In case you were wondering, yingguoren is what the Chinese call British people, and literally means 'Hero Nation People'.

I'm Mark Griffiths, a British broadcaster and writer based in Beijing, China.

I'm originally from London and I usually speak with a standard British accent, which makes it very easy to understand what I'm saying. I can also speak with a standard American accent. People say I have a warm, friendly voice that's easy to listen to.

When I'm in London I study with voice coach Anne Walsh at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Anne has worked with some of the world's best known film and stage actors, including 007 star Daniel Craig, Penelope Cruz, and Natalie Portman.

I am in constant demand for TV voiceovers, radio shows, ads, documentaries and corporate videos.

The film I narrated for the International Olympic Committee won the Excellence Award at the 2010 Milan Film Festival, the Special Award at the 2009 Montreal Film Festival, the Candido Cannavo Olympic Spirit Award, and the Absolute Winner Sports Movies and TV Excellence Award.

In 2011 I narrated another sports documentary movie, 'Together in Guangzhao', the official film of the 2010 Asian Games. The film opened the Milan International FICTS Film Festival in October 2011 and won the Best Documentary Award. Both films were shown in cinemas all over the world.

I have narrated several historical documentary series for China Central Television's Documentary Channel. You can watch some of them by clicking here.
